![]() But if you're someone who can't handle sitting there for hours working on the same thing over and over just to get a high score on a leaderboard, this might not be for you. If that sounds like your thing, you'll have an absolute blast with this game. This game is all about learning the ins and outs of the gameplay and memorizing enemy spawns, working on the same loop over and over. If you're really good, you can just learn to farm efficiently, which can make those first few minutes just as stressful as the last. It'll take a long time for that to happen though, so don't worry. On the downside, as you get better, the first few minutes become some of the most grueling as you just sit there, waiting for the action to happen. On the bright side, games feel long even due to just how sweaty everything is. )Įach game is tense as you try to practice your playstyle even closer to perfection- every few minutes feel like the longest few minutes you'll ever experience- which is to the game's benefit and detriment. Lasting even 60 seconds feels impossible at first, but give it enough time and you'll be lasting longer and longer with each day. The audio is CRISP, the movement feels great, and there's quite a bit to learn if you want to improve. It's also a really simple and effective way of dealing with any potential cheaters by verifying other peoples' runs and reporting any suspect players. One of the features I really like about this game is how you can view other players' replays of their high scores. Your competition is the leaderboard and your friends' scores. Your goal in this game is simple- get further than before, beat your old high score. It doesn't take long for this to live up to the "fast-paced FPS" description. It feels a little slow at first, but it ramps up reeeaaal quick. It's difficult and demands improvement with each run, forcing you to slave away for several hours just to pass your previous high score by a couple of seconds. A single hit ends your run, and it always feels a blink away. It's even only got a single achievement? Lasting only 500 seconds? How hard can that possibly be?īut it's sweaty. There's a single arena, 13 types of enemies, and some basic movement controls. ![]()
